This mini painting was done as I was participating in the 100 day project. This is where an artist picks a subject to paint for 100 days. Obviously, when deciding to do this type of thing you want to choose a subject that you love. For me that subject was the marsh and wet lands. Not only are they beautiful but I feel they could benefit from some focused attention because they play such a crucial role in protecting the coastal environment. In helping to preserve the marsh land the creatures who live there also benefit.
