This painting was inspired by the beautiful Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. I was captivated by the tall grasses along the harbor where the boats were docked beside an old weathered barn inside the grounds of the museum. The scene was so pretty and stayed with me after I returned home so I had to paint it!
