Beachcomber's View Series: #57

$45.00
sold out

8x10 Matted (Actual painting is 4 1/2 x 6 1/2)

Acrylic and mixed media on watercolor paper

This original artwork is part of my “Beachcomber’s View” series of semi-abstract acrylics on watercolor paper. The coast feels like my home away from home and I love the feeling of calmly, slowly walking along the tide line watching nature and looking for treasures in the sand. As an avid beachcomber I’m always amazed by the ocean’s powerful beauty. It has everything to do with the large expanse of sky and how the light affects the water’s colors. In any given day the hues of the sea and atmosphere can change many times during the sun’s rise and setting. This is where the inspiration for this series has emerged. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the challenge to express what I feel when I’m wandering the beach and hope that you enjoy viewing this art.
