There’s a special beach view, in my favorite beachside town (Cape May, NJ) where I go to be away from the crowd because it’s rather secluded. The path to the beach winds it’s way through the dunes and as you approach the entrance to the beach I always stop for a moment because the scene before me is breathtaking. There’s a lighthouse in the distance to the right of the dunes and on my way back after the sunset you can see the light shining every few seconds as it makes it’s rotation. This is the scene I’ve painted here.
