This photographic print is part of my “Atmospherics” series. I use a technique called ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) which results in a dreamy, soft, tranquil effect. This particular day I was at my favorite beach in Cape May, NJ. The day was coming to an end, and the sky started to get a soft glow as the sun was setting. I edited the colors a bit so that water contrasts beautifully with the sky to create a really peaceful feeling, which is exactly what I felt that evening.
