The original is painted on cradled wood. In this scene I was inspired by a place that I visit often and find extremely peaceful. The water rides in over the jetty into a small cove beach where people relax and watch the sun setting in the evening. Sometimes there is a heavy marine layer in the air which I really enjoy and wanted to depict here in this semi-abstract painting.
