Paintings inspired by coastal scenes
My name is Cindy Bilbao and I am inspired by the interplay between the vast ocean washing upon the shoreline and the large expanse of sky. There is nothing like standing near the water and experiencing a place with all of the senses! I seek to express this feeling within my art through non-representational painting techniques. I find that working in abstraction allows me the flexibility to add a more expression and personality to my work.

JULY 11 & 12: Sketchbook Workshop on Sedge Island, NJ
I will be leading a sketchbook workshop , joined by NJDEP Fish and Wildlife staff as we team up to learn about the importance of salt marsh ecology while we sketch the surrounding wetlands.
