Paintings inspired by coastal scenes
My name is Cindy Bilbao and I am inspired by the interplay between the vast ocean washing upon the shoreline and the large expanse of sky. There is nothing like standing near the water and experiencing a place with all of the senses! I seek to express this feeling within my art through non-representational painting techniques. I find that working in abstraction allows me the flexibility to add a more expression and personality to my work.

I was so elated to have 28 paintings in a show at the New Jersey Audubon Nature Center of Cape May this past summer. It felt like such a comfortable fit for my paintings - a perfect combination of my love of nature and the coast. It was a great success, selling numerous pieces of art both at the gallery and online at my website. I thank everyone involved for their hard work in making the show a hit!
